ABOUT TRINDEX

A Japanese stay,
chosen around you.

Trindex is an independent accommodation comparison project for travellers visiting Japan. We start in Hakone, with ryokan and Japanese-style hotels, and the details that make a stay different.

More than a hotel name

We organise observations about individual room types, baths, beds and meal plans. A feature in one room is not assumed to exist in another. Where information is missing or not yet reviewed, we say so.

Built for thoughtful choices

Explore your options, compare the recorded conditions and check the exact room and dates before you book. Hot spring accommodation is a focus, not a requirement.

Independent of the booking

Reservations and payments take place on an external provider or property website. Trindex does not sell package travel or manage bookings. Some booking links may earn a commission; see our affiliate disclosure.
