Onsen & bathing

The communal indoor and open-air baths use hot-spring water, with men’s and women’s areas switching monthly. In contrast, the private Hoshi and Tsuki baths use natural groundwater and are not onsen. These private baths have paid 50-minute sessions and can be reserved after booking your stay. Choose the bathing option according to whether privacy or hot-spring water matters most.

Meals & stay plans

Dinner is a monthly changing modern kaiseki menu using seasonal seafood and vegetables from the western slopes of Hakone, followed by a seasonal breakfast. Meals are normally served in a dedicated private dining room, separate from your bedroom, with table or sunken-floor seating. Dinner starts at 17:30 or 18:30 and breakfast at 08:30 or 09:00. Depending on party size, another guest room may be used as the dining venue.
