Onsen & bathing
The hinoki outdoor baths in guest rooms are not onsen; hot-spring bathing is available in the communal and private outdoor baths. The three Mori-no-yu private baths are free and do not take reservations. Each is for two people, with about 40 minutes suggested per visit; check the occupied light before entering. Access involves stairs, and there are no showers in these private baths.
